Resting my eyes
At a recent event I saw this gentleman "resting his eyes" and thought what a lovely print it might make.
I sneaked a discrete photograph, and when I returned home started work.
It was very enjoyable seeing the line image emerge from the grey lino. There was a great deal of "clearing" of the non-printing background, but it was well worth it, and I am very please with the result.
It is a little larger than normal - image size is 20cm x 35cm on recycled A3 paper.
There are only 20 copies in the edition. I have had positive comments so far - so here's hoping!
