Wisdom of Solomon
‘Wisdom is radiant and unfading.’
Most Bibles contain a set of Scriptures between the Old and New Testaments. These are known as the Apocrypha. They are very interesting writings which for one reason or another did not make it into the Bible proper.
One such writing is “The Wisdom of Solomon” which was originally written in Greek about 110BC.
We have selected some extracts from the book which describe the attributes of Sophia, Goddess of Wisdom which “open the door to eternal life, and thereby the attainment of happiness”.
Bound in white leathercloth with marbled endpapers the text is letterpress printed in two colours with page decorations silkscreened in a third colour.
The book is 250mm high and 155mm wide and bound in white leathercloth with marbled endpapers.
